Update!

After 18 months of fighting relapsing neuroblastoma, Braden's scans on January 26 showed no evidence of disease.  This is simply a miracle!  Even given that wonderful news, Braden is not yet cancer free--the doctors agree that there are still cells in his body and it will return if we do not continue further treatment.  As of February 1, the doctors are The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Children's Mercy in Kansas City are trying to secure immunotherapy for Braden through compassionate care access.  If they are successful, Braden will be the first patient to receive this immunotherapy to fight a relapse of neuroblastoma.  The family is hopeful that it will find and kill the remaining cancer cells while teaching his own immune system to recognize invading cancer cells and attack them itself.  HOPE!
